Natasha Bradshaw – Principal

Miss Natasha began her dance journey at a very young age, training at the Vicki Durning School of Dance. She competed in numerous festivals and competitions, including the prestigious All England Dance Finals and the Grand Final of Miss Dance of Great Britain.

At 18, Natasha moved to London to further her training at the renowned London Studio Centre, where she was awarded the Wall Trust Scholarship. After completing her BA (Hons) degree, she successfully auditioned for Royal Caribbean and spent two years in Southeast Asia performing as a Dancer and Aerial Captain.

Her career has also included work with acclaimed Las Vegas producers and choreographers such as Kevin and Marcel Wilson and Douglas Johnson. A career highlight includes performing at the world-famous Royal Opera House as part of the Pet Shop Boys’ Inner Sanctum World Tour.

In January 2023, Miss Natasha proudly stepped into the role of Principal following Miss Vicki’s transition into semi-retirement. Having taught and assisted at the school since the age of 14, Natasha is deeply committed to building upon the strong foundations Vicki established.

Known for her passion and her nurturing, enthusiastic teaching style, Miss Natasha brings out the best in every child. She is dedicated to student wellbeing, having recently completed a qualification in children’s mental health and currently studying areas related to SENCO and learning disabilities. Her classes are always engaging, supportive, and fun—creating a space where children feel encouraged to grow, learn, and thrive.

 

Miss Kerry – Teaching Assistant

Miss Kerry began dancing as a young girl and spent many years competing under the guidance of Vicki Durning. Throughout her dance journey, she participated in numerous productions and had the privilege of training at the prestigious Royal Ballet Summer Schools.

With a special passion for working with younger pupils, Miss Kerry brings warmth, energy, and enthusiasm to every class. She particularly enjoys teaching Acro and Musical Theatre, where her creativity and nurturing approach truly shine.

Miss Katy – Teacher

Miss Katy began dancing at the age of 5 at the Vicki Durning School of Dance. She went on to train at the prestigious London Studio Centre, graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in Theatre Dance Performance. After college, Katy successfully auditioned for Matilda the Musical and was thrilled to join the original West End cast. Following two incredible years in the show, she transitioned into teaching, earning an impressive 95% in her first teaching exam. Following this, Katy taught at various schools and colleges across the UK.

Behind the scenes, she continued her work with Matilda—assisting with auditions, rehearsing new children into the show for both the West End and UK tour, and most recently being invited to workshop the choreography for the film adaptation. Katy is now delighted to return to her roots at The Studio and looks forward to sharing her passion, energy, and enthusiasm with every single student.

Miss Katy – Teacher
